  • Have contractors access to competent Health and Safety Advice.
  • How will the contractors carryout effective monitoring of their staff once on site?
  • Do the contractors hold any Health and Safety Accreditation’s e.g. CHAS, Safe Contractor, EXOR, Construction Line?
  • Implement a suitable scoring system, so that you can distinguish between contractors, thus appointing the correct contractor that has the highest score.
  • Always monitor sub-contractors regularly, so that they meet your safety performance expectations.
