An audit can focus on:
  1. Planning;
  2. Health and Safety responsibilities;
  3. Review the organisational structure;
  4. How consultation is carried out and the arrangements currently in place;
  5. The implementation of all procedures and activities;
  6. Hazard identification, assessment and control;
  7. The training and competence of staff at all levels;
  8. Measurement, reporting and evaluation;
  9. Conduct a review of the OHS system and its overall performance.
Upon arrival on site we will:
Step 1: Ask a number of bespoke questions to establish the current compliance level

We base our audit questions around the law and standards. We will audit your documented safety procedures and workplace practices to ensure they are compliant and check if safety practices are being followed - to identify if any improvements will need to be made.

We audit the premises identifying non-compliances together with the owner. This allows us to produce an accurate report and provides the owner confidence that we are addressing the risks that are important for their organisation.

Step 2: Produce an audit report

The report will identify any ‘audit findings’. The audit report will then identify the risks and assess the level of those risks.

Step 3: Develop an action plan to correct them

Then we’ll prioritise the risk controls that you will apply to those findings using the hierarchy of control to develop an action plan. This will identify whether the actions are classified as High, Medium, or Low, and a realistic time scale for these actions to be completed.
